American Crystal Inc., (ACI) the U.S. subsidiary of Crystal Co.
Ltd. of Kyoto Japan, the sixth largest staffing company in the world,
announced today the acquisition of all outstanding shares of TAC
Worldwide Companies (TWC) of Dedham, MA. As a thirty six year leader
in technical staffing services, TWC specializes in information technology
and engineering staffing solutions in a variety of industries including
high tech, automotive, aerospace and oil/gas in the U.S. and Europe.
This merger is part of Crystal’s continuing globalization
goal and marks entry into the high tech marketplace in the U.S. and
U.K. TAC Worldwide CEO Gary DiCamillo commented "the alignment
with American Crystal provides TWC with substantial growth opportunities
through a network of technical staffing resources on three continents”.
Mr. DiCamillo will remain CEO of TWC and additionally has been appointed
CEO of American Crystal, Inc., the group’s common U.S. parent.
Mr. DiCamillo will be responsible for all operations in the United
States and Europe and will oversee comprehensive business development
and customer/contractor services.
American Crystal's acquisitions over the past 28 months include
Houston based Talent Tree and Skillmaster Staffing, Advantage HR
of Stamford, CT., and Monroe, LA. based WillStaff Worldwide as well
as London based Crone Corkill and FSS businesses in the UK. With
the addition of TAC Worldwide and TAC Europe to the U.S. and U.K.
Groups, Crystal’s western hemisphere based revenues is well
over $1 Billion and opens new business and customer opportunities
to its subsidiary companies.
