Here, the boys came out as winners against some of the best junior rugby teams in the UK and now look forward to playing in the Final of the tournament, to be held at Twickenham on May 28th before the England v Barbarians game.

Everyone at TAC Europe would like to wish Winchester all the best in the final and we look forward to supporting them on the day.

tac europe boxer takes a convincing victory

After suffering a controversial loss to Lloyd Ellet, in front of former world middle-weight champions, Michael Watson and Alan Minter, TAC Europe sponsored boxer, Darryl Still was determined not to be on the wrong end of a close decision again.

Donning his TAC Europe sponsored kit for his latest fight against Tony White, at the Weymoth Pavillion on Saturday 22nd April, Still was determined to take a convincing victory in the last bout of the night.

Still started the fight at a blistering pace, hitting White with an impressive array of shots during the first 3 rounds. Quite a task, given the visual age and strength advantage held by White.

After the third round of Still's onslaught, White was clearly ‘rattled' and realising a points victory would be impossible, the fourth saw White come out looking for a knock out with heavy sweeping hooks. However, Still proved to be too sharp for White, and dodged everything that was 'thrown' at him. After a moment of tiredness in the fourth, Still came back at White with some good combinations to take a unanimous points verdict.

Darryl fights next on May 5th at the Whitstable Show in Kent. Darryl has also been chosen to represent the Southern Counties select squad.

rec recruitment cup

On Sunday the 9th April, TAC Europe FC competed in the Recruitment 5's tournament in Bracknell. After a
slow start in the group stages (losing 2 games and drawing one) the team ended up in the second tier of
the competition, competing for the Plate. The first game of the knock out competition pitted the team against
Ontarget and after the game ended 1-1, it came down to a dramatic penalty shootout which eventually
finished with TAC Europe FC celebrating a 2-1 victory.

In the semi-final, TAC eased to a comfortable 3-1 victory over Peach Recruitment. This meant that TAC Europe team came up against the Recruitment & Employment Confederation team to compete for the Recruitment 5's Plate. Unfortunately for TAC, the game slipped away from them, as REC ran away with an easy 5-1 victory, leaving the team to think about what might have been.

TAC Europe FC will have a chance to redeem themselves in a charity match against T-Mobile on 4th May, in Basingstoke. All proceeds from the game will go to Hekima Place, who support orphaned children in Kenya.
